About St. Bede's Childcare Limited

St. Bede’s Childcare Ltd was founded in 2003 and now has 6 settings across Leigh, Wigan and Bolton.

At St. Bede’s we are proud to deliver childcare that is built on care, passion and excellence as it brings together the expertise of our multi academy trust and our experienced senior team with early years in abundance. Our former Chief Executive Officer, Mr Jack Hatch was awarded an OBE for his services to Education and we are extremely proud to support our children through their life transitions as we prepare them for their next journey on to school.

At St. Bede’s Childcare your child will be encouraged to develop in a way which is fun and immersive as our meticulously planned activities are designed to facilitate learning at a young age.

We understand the parent experience and the emotions associated with it. We know that finding the right childcare provider for your little ones is a difficult process and with this in mind, we offer a home from home environment for you and your children and our team will leave you feeling re-assured when you return to work.

Our Philosophy

As a charity, our aim is to ensure that all children are ready for each transition in their life whether that be to a new room in the nursery or to begin their journey to school. Our approach of individualised learning ensures that we can do this in a way which is age and developmentally appropriate for that child. Each child is viewed as an individual and the learning intentions are planned purposefully around your child’s interests.

Parents are recognised as the child’s first educators and they will always be the first point of contact with the child’s key person. Your child’s key person will be responsible for updating you on a regular basis of your child’s progress and how you can support their learning at home.

We hope to instill and inspire a love of learning at a young age. Our teams of knowledgeable and passionate practitioners inspire our children with magical learning experiences every single day, with the aim of creating the curious thinkers and scientists of the future!

We take lots of inspiration from our children too! Just like with adults, every child is completely unique with their own interests, questions and sense of wonder about the big wide world in which we live. Every day, this inspires us to come up with new and exciting ways to teach them everything they need to know before it’s time to go to school.
